Ministry philosophy

Our ministry philosophy is rooted in a simple conviction: the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation, and the local New Testament church is God’s chosen instrument for evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual growth (Romans 1:16; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:41–42). Every aspect of our ministry flows from this foundation.

Gospel - Centered Evangelism

We believe meaningful ministry begins with clearly communicating the gospel through personal  relationships. While methods may vary across cultures, the message remains unchanged — salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians  15:3–4).

Our desire is to engage people patiently, build genuine relationships, and present the gospel in a way that is understandable within the heart language and cultural context of the people we serve (1 Corinthians 9:19–23; Romans 10:14–15).

Grounded in Discipleship

We believe that evangelism is only the beginning of the Christian life. New believers must be grounded in the Word of God, encouraged in their walk with Christ, and guided toward spiritual maturity (Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 2:2). For this reason, discipleship begins immediately after conversion and focuses on practical, Bible-centered growth.

Our goal is to help believers learn to study Scripture for themselves, cultivate a personal relationship with God, and faithfully live out their faith in everyday life. As believers grow in understanding and obedience to God’s Word, they become equipped to encourage others and strengthen the body of Christ within their own communities (Acts 2:42; John 8:31–32).

Establishing Indigenous Churches

A central focus of our ministry is the establishment of healthy local churches led by biblically qualified national believers (Acts 14:21–23; Titus 1:5). We believe the long-term strength of missions depends upon churches that are rooted in Scripture and led by those who understand the language and culture of the people they serve.

Our role is not to build churches that depend on foreign leadership, but to help lay strong biblical foundations and assist in training men who will shepherd their own congregations. As local leadership develops, our desire is to see churches function independently while remaining faithful to God’s Word and committed to reaching their communities (Ephesians 4:11–12; 2 Timothy 2:2).

Rational, Long-Term Ministry

Effective ministry grows through meaningful relationships and a long-term commitment to the people being served. In Slovenia, trust often develops gradually, and we believe the gospel is most clearly demonstrated through consistent presence, hospitality, and genuine care for others (1 Thessalonians 2:8).

We are committed to learning the Slovenian language and culture so that biblical truth can be communicated clearly and accurately. By investing time in people, mentoring believers, and equipping those who demonstrate spiritual maturity, our desire is to see lives transformed by the gospel and churches established that will continue reaching their communities for generations to come (1 Corinthians 3:6–7; Galatians 6:9).
